It is a Teak Wood body with a French Varnish finish book shaped wooden box that opens up to reveal an accelerated Charkha which uses traditional cotton drive bands, wooden posts, and steel fittings. It also features a self contained skein winder. It comes with 3 spindles and a bar that attaches to the Charkha that you place under your leg while sitting on the floor to prevent it from moving around
